Allegation of Savar young man murder attempt

A shocking incident has emerged in Savar, Dhaka after an unknown assailant entered a house and attempted to slit the throat of a man named Md. Hashem Mia (45). He is currently undergoing treatment on life support in the ICU of Savar Enam Medical College Hospital in a critical condition.
The victim’s younger brother, Md. Towhidul Islam (35), filed a written complaint about the incident at Savar Model Police Station on Tuesday.
According to the complaint, an unknown person or persons entered the house of Md. Hashem Mia in Mandalpara, West Rajashan, Savar between 4 am and 6 am on Wednesday. Later, he was intentionally stabbed in the neck with a sharp knife with the intention of killing him. As a result, he was severely bloodied and injured.
Later, a relative from the neighboring house informed Hashem Mia’s mother Rokeya Begum (68) and her younger brother Tauhidul Islam, who rushed to the spot and found Hashem Mia lying on the bed in a pool of blood, lifeless. Later, he was admitted to Enam Medical College at around 7 am.
Plaintiff Towhidul Islam said, “My elder brother is still at the crossroads of life and death. We cannot understand who did such a cruel act. Our family is now living in fear. We want the real culprits to be arrested quickly and strict punishment taken.”
Hashem Mia’s uncle Oli Mia said, “At around 6:30 in the morning, while feeding the cows, I found the cowshed locked. When I went to my nephew’s room, I saw the door open.
Later, my nephew was lying in a bloody state in the room. Seeing this situation, I quickly brought an autorickshaw and admitted him to the hospital.”
