School feeding prog to resume from next month Adviser

Primary and Mass Education Adviser Professor Dr Bidhan Ranjan Roy Poddar has said that the school feeding programme (SFP) will resume in government primary schools of the country from next month.

He disclosed the information this afternoon in a views-exchange meeting held at the District Shilpokola Academy auditorium in the city as the chief guest.

The Rangpur district administration and District Primary Education Office jointly organised the meeting with various stakeholders for improving the quality of primary education, reports BSS.

Presided over by Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Rabiul Faisal, head teachers, assistant teachers of government primary schools and primary education related officials from various upazilas of the district attended the event.

Secretary to the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education Abu Taher Md Masud Rana, Rangpur Divisional Commissioner Md Shahidul Islam, Director General of the Directorate of Primary Education Abu Nur Md Shamsuzzaman and its Director (Policy and Operation) Mohammad Kamrul Hasan attended the meeting as special guests.
