Partner feed school congress held in Joypurhat

A day-long Partner Feed School Congress was held on Wednesday at the Joypurhat Sadar Upazila auditorium, organized by the Department of Agricultural Extension (DAE) under the Program on Agriculture and Rural Transformation for Nutrition Resilience in Bangladesh (PARTNER).

The event began at 11 AM and was presided over by Upazila Nirbahi Officer Rashedul Islam. Masud Ahmed, Senior Monitoring Officer of the PARTNER project, delivered the keynote presentation.

Additional Deputy Director of DAE Shahidul Islam, Sadar Upazila Agriculture Officer Rafsia Jahan, and President of Joypurhat Press Club Abu Bakar Siddique also spoke on the occasion, highlighting the importance of sustainable agricultural practices and nutritional resilience.

More than a hundred participants took part in the congress, including farmers from different villages of Sadar upazila, fertilizer and seed dealers, pesticide traders, and local media representatives.

The congress aimed to promote collaboration among stakeholders and enhance awareness about nutrition-sensitive agriculture through the PARTNER initiative.
