Khulna Correspondent :
Former MP and Vice-Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, Dr. Syed Abdullah Muhammad Taher said that the ideal of Jamaat-e-Islami is to follow the laws of Allah and the principles of the Prophet (PBUH).
Basically, our ideal is the ideal of the World Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH); his struggle is our struggle. Allah Almighty has sent prophets and messengers throughout the ages to bring victory to the truth in religion over all religions.
That task was successfully completed by the hands of the Prophet (PBUH). Before this victory, Allah Almighty had revealed Surah Nasr as good news for the believers. At that time, such a situation arose that people in groups united under the banner of Islam.
Now that situation is being felt in our country. People are moving towards Islam in droves. Therefore, if we can properly utilize our abilities, wisdom, diligence, devotion and leadership qualities, then the victory of Islam will become inevitable. He called upon everyone to work together to establish an Islamic society based on justice and fairness.
He said all these things in his speech as the chief guest at the Union Working Committee/Team Member Education Camp at the Al Farooq Society Auditorium in Sonadanga, Khulna District, on Friday (May 9) afternoon.
Under the chairmanship of Central Majlish-e-Shura member and Khulna District Ameer Maulana Emran Hussain and under the guidance of Assistant Secretary Munshi Moinul Islam, special guest discussions were held by Jamaat-e-Islami Central Working Committee member and Khulna Region Assistant Director Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, Regional Team Member Principal Maulana Mashiur Rahman, General Majlish-e-Shura member Khulna Metropolitan Ameer Professor Mahfuzur Rahman. At this time, Khulna District Jamaat Naib-e-Ameer Maulana Golam Sarwar and Principal Maulana Kabirul Islam, Secretary Munshi Mizanur Rahman, Assistant Secretary Advocate Mostafizur Rahman, Sheikh Sirajul Islam, Hafez Aminul Islam, Advocate Abu Yusuf Molla, Professor S. M. Enamul Haque, Golam Mustafa Al Mujahid, Ashraful Alam, Koyra Upazila Ameer Maulana Mizanur Rahman, Paikgachha Upazila Ameer Maulana Saidur Rahman, Batiaghata Upazila Ameer Maulana Sheikh Md. Abu Yusuf, Dakop Upazila Ameer Maulana Abu Sayeed, Rupsa Upazila Ameer Maulana Labibul Islam, Terkhada Upazila Ameer Nahid Hasan, Dumuria Upazila Secretary Maulana Sirajul Islam, Fultala Upazila Secretary Maulana Saiful Hasan and others were present.
Dr. Syed Taher said, we have to be more proactive and people-oriented in the field.
We have to be more conscious in fulfilling our responsibilities and more planned in allocating time. We have to increase the quality of work in light of the needs of the field and give time. Our work needs to be more timely and planned. Those in charge need to think more about their work and make plans in that light and work in the field. No two days of a believer will be the same, but today should be better than yesterday.
Nayeb Amir also said, despite hundreds of injustices, oppressions and persecutions, we have survived on the path of Allah and His Messenger due to the mercy of Allah. We have not become impatient, despite false cases, we have never bowed down to any injustice. Although the education and training of Islam that we have received from the organization seems very difficult at the moment, if we distribute and perform our responsibilities correctly, Allah Almighty will make all our difficult tasks easy, Insha Allah. He said, we are fulfilling our religious responsibilities despite various limitations. Our responsibility is to develop those who will lead the Islamic movement in the future to be more skilled and competent than us.
He said, we have to form separate units in every union, village and neighborhood. We have to reach the people’s homes by forming strong committees utilizing all the departments of the organization. As Jamaat workers, we have to be in the forefront of social change.
