DIU links with UNISSA, Brunei

Daffodil International University (DIU) has established links with Brunei’s Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) to pave the way for more exchange programs. In this regard a memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between both universities to allow academic cooperation and improved student mobility on Tuesday during DIU chairman’s recent visit to Negara Brunei Darussalam.
Md Sabur Khan, Chairman, BoT, DIU and Dr Haji Norarfan Bin Haji Zainal, Rector, UNISSA signed the MoU on behalf of respective universities in the presence of Deputy Rector Dr Mohammed Hussain, Asst Rector Dr Arman and all key people of UNISSA. Under this MoU, both the universities agreed to foster greater academic ties and enable student mobility programmes in certain fields, including the possibility of expanding to more fields.
DIU will offer UNISSA students the opportunity to join its Entrepreneurship Development Programme under its International Student Exchange Programme. Students will also have the opportunity to join industry activities for a semester or a two-semester study abroad programme. UNISSA will send few students and faculty very soon in Bangladesh and DIU will also send same in Brunei in future.
