In response to the demands of the Medical Assistant Training School (MATS) students, the students held a press conference after the Health Ministry’s instructions for seven days and then three days have passed, but none of their demands have been implemented.
The press conference was held at Joypurhat Press Club on Wednesday (March 5) at around 12 noon.
The press conference was organized by the Bangladesh Diploma Medical Association, Unemployed Diploma Doctors and MATS Students’ Unity Council.
Mahmudul Hasan, general secretary of Bangladesh Diploma Medical Association Joypurhat district branch, read out a written statement. The organization’s advisor Abdul Halim Mondal, president Abdul Hakim and organizing secretary Mashiur Rahman also spoke at the event.
