New tenders invite bypassing authorised contractors in SGF

A complaint has been received of an attempt to invite new tenders for oil transportation in Sylhet Gas Field, bypassing the contracted contractors. The Sylhet Gas Field Fuel Transport Owners Association has submitted a memorandum to the government’s concerned advisor in this regard.
The memorandum states that where 160 vehicles are required for oil transportation every day, 413 vehicles are being registered, wasting state money. The organization has demanded that necessary measures be taken in this regard to prevent state waste.
