50 trainee SIs served show cause notices in Sarada

At least 50 trainee sub-inspectors (SIs) from the 40th Cadet Batch 2023 at the Rajshahi Police Academy have been issued show cause notices due to disciplinary issues regarding their seating arrangements. The notices were served on Monday and Thursday as part of an effort to maintain order and discipline within the academy.

Recently, 252 out of 704 trainees from the same batch received show cause notices for causing a commotion over snacks in the training field. As their responses were found unsatisfactory, they were dismissed from their positions.

According to the sources, on Monday, an additional 10 trainee sub-inspectors from the batch received second show cause notices. Following this, on Thursday, 49 more were issued notices in the third round. They have been instructed to respond within three days.

The show cause notice issued to a trainee sub-inspector on Thursday stated that on August 21, from 7pm to 8:30pm, a class on various important legal provisions was held for cadet sub-inspectors at Chemoni Memorial Hall.

During the training, four instructors observed that the trainee sub-inspector created disorder by not sitting properly and making a commotion. Despite being repeatedly instructed by one of the trainers to sit orderly, the sub-inspector ignored the directive and continued to disrupt the class.
