Feud over Kabaddi game leaves UNO, 7 others injured

About 8 people including UNO were injured in a clash between students of Riazuddin High School and Sara Jhowdia High School during the Kabaddi final of the inter-upazila sports competition in Ishwardi.

On Tuesday (October 8) from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m., there were attacks on the upazila grounds, various offices including UNO of the Parishad and the residence of UNO.

The injured in the attack are Ishwardi Upazila Nirbahi Officer Subir Kumar Das, 10th class student of Sarba Jhowdia High School Taufiq Islam Shubo, Liberian Abul Kalam, 10th class student of Riazuddin High School Salman. Besides, among the visitors, 3-4 others including Naim, a 1st year student of Ishwardi Government College, were injured.
