Teachers hold human chain for 10th grade

In Baraigram upazila of Natore, Assistant teachers of primary schools formed a human chain demanding the implementation of 10th grade of service-rule. Assistant teacher Imran Hossain conducted the hour-long human chain at Upazila Parishad square on Monday last.

Head teachers Saiful Islam, Azahar Ali, Shafiqul Islam, assistant teachers Salim Hossain, Alfur Rahman, Sharmin Sultana and others spoke by highlighting the rationale of their demands. About two hundred primary school assistant teachers were present there.

Later, the teacher representatives gave a memorandum to Upazila Nirbahi Officer Laila Jannatul Ferdous in this regard.
