New AMD of Dhaka Bank PLC.

Dhaka Bank PLC. recently promoted Mr. A K M Shahnawaj as the Additional Managing Director with effect from July 1, 2024. He joined Dhaka Bank in 2013 as SEVP & served the bank in the capacity of Regional Manager, Chattagram, Manager of Local Office Branch, Dhaka & lastly as Deputy Managing Director since July 2018 prior to this promotion.

Mr. Shahnawaj started his banking career in 1989 as a Probationary Officer at Arab Bangladesh bank Ltd. Later, since 1996, he served Muslim Commercial Bank Ltd. & Bank Asia PLC. in various capacities mostly as Credit Manager & Head of Branches before joining Dhaka Bank.

After completing his MBA from IBA, Dhaka University, he has been serving our banking industry for the last 35 years. He has attended different training on Banking, Management & Leadership at home and abroad.
