Netherlands team visits Raozan Municipality

A delegation of Netherlands government headed by Prof Zevenberger has visited different areas of Raozan Pourasava (municipality) on Monday last with a view to implementing the Tk. 5000 crores pilot project. During the visit, the team members witnessed a number of ongoing projects of the pourasava.
Among others Engr. MA Sami Abu of LGED, Bangladesh and other concerned engineers were present.
Mayor of Raozan Pourasava (Municipality) Zamiruddin Parvez welcomed the visiting Dutch representative at Pourasava Office by presenting bouquet. Later, Mayor Zamiruddin apprised them about the ongoing projects of the pourasava and visited these projects.
Mayor in his brief deliberation told that following the directives of MP ABM Fazle Karim Chowdhury, the development activities in the municipal areas are visible and proceeding towards turning a model pourasava across the country.
Among others, Assistant Engineer of Pourasava Wasim Akram, Saber Hossain, Md. Asif, Iqbal Hossain etc. were present on the occasion.
