4 officials including camp commander withdrawn

At least four law enforcement officials including camp commander have been withdrawn over the allegations that a woman died in RAB-14 camp custody in Bhairab of Kishoreganj.
Camp Commander Lieutenant, BN Fahim Faisal and four others have been removed from camp duty. The order to withdraw them came from RAB’s Headquarters on Sunday.
The other three who were withdrawn are RAB’s Deputy Assistant Director (DAD) Iqbal Hossain, Corporal Mohibul Islam and Constable Monir Hossain. Simultaneously, Sub-Inspector (SI) of Nandale Police Station Nazmul Hasan has been withdrawn and attached to Mymensingh Police Lines.
Senior ASP AH Chowdhury took charge as commander of Bhairab camp from Monday morning. He confirmed the withdrawal of four people from Bhairav camp. Acknowledging the withdrawal, Fahim Faisal told journalists, ‘Yes, I have been withdrawn’.
On Thursday night, a woman named Suraiya Khatun (54) was arrested from Nandail in Mymensingh by the members of RAB-14 Bhairav camp.
