Shibalaya headmaster accused of corruption

The locals demanded final dismissal of Md. Yousub Ali, headmaster of Upazila Central Abdul Gani Sarkar (AGS) High School in Shibalaya for his alleged irregularities and corruption. On Sunday, students and teachers of the school, parents and dignitaries demanded his final dismissal in a human chain on the Dhaka-Aricha highway. Former SMC members of the school Abdul Rahim, Abdul Halim Mridha, Abdul Razzak, Ulail Union Awami League President Abdul Majid and former students, teachers and parents of the school spoke in the human chain held in front of the school. The speakers said that the suspended headmaster Yousub Ali is a bad-tempered, greedy, corrupt person.
It should be noted that due to various irregularities and corruption for a long time, the head teacher was warned through search and investigation activities. But as there was no change, school management committee-SMC president SM Salauddin formed an audit committee according to the decision of SMC.
