Nahid consigns Mohammedan to defeat in DPL

Fast bowler Nahid Rana, considered as the fastest bowler of the country at this moment, claimed his List A career-best 5-45 as Shinepukur Cricket Club secured a six-wicket win over Mohammedan Sporting Club by DLS method at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadiumin the capital’s Mirpur on Tuesday.
Having won the game, Shinepukur moved to the third spot of Dhaka Premier League (DPL) point table with seven wins from 10 matches. Mohammedan also had seven wins but they are at fourth position due to their poor run rate.
Put into bat first, Mohammedan posted 227-9, being wrecked heavily by raw pace of Rana.
