Newborn baby found in Hossainpur mosque

A newborn baby was rescued from the ablution of a mosque at Basurchar village in Hossainpur upazila of Kishoreganj on early Tuesday. According to locals and Police sources, someone left the newborn baby in the ablution of the mosque early Thursday around 3.30 am.
Later, hearing his cry, the locals went there and saw a newborn lying there. When the Mosque Imam informed the Police about the incident, the police came and rescued the newborn and admitted him to the Hossainpur Upazila Health Complex.
Police Super (SP) of Kishoreganj, Mohammad Rasel Sheikh PPM (Bar), BPM (Sheba) visits the spot and Upazila health complex. He and his family members picked up a newborn baby. SP gave necessary feeding and cloths for newborn.
Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr. Tanveer Hasan Ziku confirmed the matter and said that the newborn child was brought to the hospital with the help of the Hossainpur police station.
After initial treatment, the newborn was admitted to the hospital. There he was kept in intensive care and milk was provided for food.
