RpMP sets up sub-control room

Rangpur Metropolitan Police (RpMP) set up a sub-control room on Thursday afternoon at the city’s Modern Junction to ensure uninterrupted movement of people from their homes, ease traffic congestion and ensure their safety on the occasion of the holy Eid-ul-Fitr 2024.
The operation will be ongoing 24 hours in coordination with the members of Rangpur Metropolitan Police and RAB-13 and this operation will continue after Eid to keep the return of people from home to work place smoothly.
RpMP Commissioner Md. Moniruzzaman inaugurated the sub-control room. Under the direction of RPMP Deputy Police Commissioner (Traffic) Md. Menhazul Alam, Rangpur Metropolitan Police Deputy Police Commissioner (Crime) Md. Abu Maruf Hossain, RAB-13 Commanding Officer, Arafat Islam, Additional DIG of Highway Police Rangpur Region Mohammad Zakaria. At this time, the police, RAB-13 members of various ranks, leaders and activists of various labor organizations and respected representatives of print electric media.
