UPS another step to build Smart Bangladesh

Upazila Nirbahi Officer Laila Jannatul Ferdous of Baraigram upazila said, “Universal Pension Scheme (UPS)” is an important step of the Prime Minister in building Smart Bangladesh. Through the implementation of this scheme, social and economic safety net will be created for 60 and 60 up aged people with the money of pension. Dependence on others will be much less in old age. No one should be a `disgrace’ in the society.
18 to 50 or fifty up aged businessmen, expatriates, farmers, workers, teachers, imams, and priests can join this scheme.
