BCB wants to give chance to juniors in Test

Sports Reporter :
Bangladesh Cricket team conceded defeats in two Test matches against Sri Lanka recently.

Almost all junior cricketers failed to show satisfactory performances in those matches.

But the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) will be with them in their bad time.

Chairman of the Cricket Operations Committee of the BCB Jalal Yunus spoke to the newsmen at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in the capital’s Mirpur on Thursday.

Jalal said, ” Our teams played Sylhet and Chattogram against Sri Lanka. We tried to give chance to the batters to score there.

But they failed to do that. I think we shall give chance to the junior cricketers.

It is a tough task to make big score for the newcomers in their beginning.

I think they will get time to perform well after taking some time. I don’t mention their name.

There are two or three novice players who will take time to perform well.”

He said, ” The experienced cricketers of our team failed to score.

But we hope they could perform well.

If the experienced cricketers could build two or three partnerships, it would be enough for our team.

But they could not produce notable partnerships.

It is a big gap. I think our bowlers bowled well.”
