RAB arrests 69 brokers in a raid at DMCH

The elite force Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has arrested at least 69 people including brokers in a raid at Dhaka Medical College & Hospital.

From Monday morning to noon, RAB raided various places of the hospital and arrested them.

According to the RAB officials, the broker circle used to collect money through harassment for various tasks including the admission of patients who came to Dhaka Medical for treatment.

In addition, the circle used to send patients from government hospitals to expensive private hospitals to get commission.

RAB-3 captain Lieutenant Colonel Arif Mohiuddin Ahmed confirmed the matter to the media saying that a total of 65 brokers were arrested from DMCH. Further legal action will be taken in their regard.
