2 Bhairab men held with 3350 Indian sarees

Sr. Staff Reporter, Kishoreganj :

Police have arrested allegedly two smugglers along with 3350 Indian saree worth Tk. 1.10 Crores ores, a covered van in Bhairab port town of Kishoreganj on Wednesday afternoon.

They were arrested from Newtown area of Upazila Sadar on Wednesday morning.

Later, when the police handed over the accused to the court, the judge ordered to send them to jail.

The arrested named Alamin Howladar (40), a resident of Gouripur Adarshpara village of Bhandaria upazila of Pirojpur and Md. Akhter Hossain (24) in Purbapara village of Sunamganj Sadar.
