CWU holds cultural event

A cultural programme was held on the premises of Central Women’s University to celebrate the first day of the Bengali month of Falgun organized by the university’s cultural club on Thursday.
The university premises were decorated with different colors to welcome the month.
Vice-chancellor of the university Parveen Hasan inaugurated the event. Guardians, students and staffs of the university enjoyed programme.
Registrar of the university Elis Ahmad, Chairperson of the Board of trustees Kazi Jehedul Hasan, teachers and officials of various departments attended the function. Students of the university performed traditional activities including dance and songs.
A cake-festival was also arranged where sold homemade foods, paintings, perfume, books, and accessories in different stalls.
