Drug dealers held with 36 kg hemps

A contingent of Bagerhat district BD police arrested one drug trader named Md. Akash Khan (22) along with 12 kgs ganja near from Maa Feeling Station at Garfa area under Mollahat Upazila in the district on Thursday afternoon, according to a report received here. The arrestee Akash Khan is the son of one Sultan Khan of village Baraikhali under Morrelganj Upazila in Bagerhat district.
Swapan Kumar Das, Inspector of Bagerhat district DB police confirmed the matter and told, acting on secret information that one drug trader is waiting at the area (Garfa) near a Feeling Station in order to hand over a big consignment of ganja to another drug trader a skilled squad of Bagerhat district DB police conducted a raid at the area and arrested him (Akash Khan) along with 12 kgs ganja.
