Body of unidentified newborn recovered

The police recovered the body of a newborn from the corn field on the west north paved road of Barakhata Degree College of Hatibandha Upazila of Lalmonirhat. The newborn is yet to be identified. In the dead of night, the newborn was dumped in a corn field next to the college road.
On Monday (February 5) morning, locals saw the body and informed the police. Later the police went and recovered the body. A sensation has been created in that area. Barakhata Union Parishad Chairman Abu Hena Mostafa Jamal Sohel confirmed that this is a very sad incident.
Hatibandha OC Investigation Nirmal Chandra Mohant said that we recovered the body of the newborn on the basis of local reports. I will take legal action later.
