New govt’s main task will be to deliver on promises: Quader

Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader has said the main task of the new government will be to take appropriate steps to implement the promises made in the election manifesto.

He said this at a joint meeting organized at the office of Dhaka District Awami League at Tejgaon on Tuesday afternoon, reports UNB.

Quader said the newly elected MPs will take oath at 10 am on Wednesday. The leader of the House will also be determined on this day. The new cabinet will take oath at Bangabhaban at 7pm on Thursday.
