EC show causes Police Officer, accused of campaigning for wife

The Election Inquiry Committee has served a show-cause notice to a Police Officer, accused of campaigning for his wife, an independent candidate in the Bogra-1 constituency.

Bogra Joint District and Sessions Judge Shahnaz Parvin on Wednesday issued the notice and asked to explain his position in person or send a representative to the inquiry committee’s temporary office at 3:30pm on Thursday.
