43rd BCS PSC nods to appointment in 2,805 posts

The Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) has recommended the recruitment of 2 thousand 805 candidates from the 43rd BCS batch. The BPSC took this decision after a meeting on Tuesday.

According to the decision, it is recommended to appoint a total of 2 thousand 805 people including 2 thousand 163 aspirants in cadre posts and 642 people in non-cadre posts.

For the first time, the BPSC released cadre and non-cadre posts simultaneously.

More than 4 lakh 35 thousand candidates took part in the BCS preliminary examination held on 29 October 2021.

The result of this examination was published on January 20, 2022 where a total of 15 thousand 220 candidates were selected for the written examination.

The written examination was held on July, 2022 where a total of 9,841 aspirants passed the test.

According to the 43rd BCS notification, 1 thousand 814 officers will be recruited in different cadres in this BCS. Later the BPSC extended the cadre post to accommodate the additional demand as sought by the Ministry of Public Administration.
