No permanent sub-register in Bhangura, people suffer

Due to the lack of a sub-registrar, there is a disturbance in document registration in Bhangura Upazila of Pabna. Due to the same reason buyers and sellers are suffering due to the inability to register the land on time. A sub-registrar was given part-time duty but did not come to the office last week, adding to the problem.
It is reported that after the execution of thirty documents in the last week, the buyers and sellers went back because the sub-registrar was not found even though they were waiting for the registration.
Meanwhile, the sellers did not get the money because they could not register the land. As a result, many of them are suffering from not being able to meet their financial needs. Saleha Khatun from Choubaria village of Bhangura upazila sold the land for treatment.
Abdur Rashid of Bheramara village sold the land for family needs but due to lack of sub-registrar none of them could register the land. For this reason the document writers are also disappointed
The post of sub-registrar here, Mahbebur Rahman Wazed, became vacant due to his transfer.
In an order signed by Pabna district registrar Dwipak Kumar Sarkar on November 13, 2023 in the interest of the public, the sub-registrar of the adjacent Chatmoharupazila Md. ModachirHasan was ordered to perform part-time duties in Bhanguraupazila on the last two working days of the week (Wednesday, Thursday). He is also empowered to perform duties as ion-expenditure officer. However, it has been alleged that the sub-registrar was absent from the Bhangura office last week. He had only worked one day in the previous week after receiving the order, the document writers said. Besides, the Khandakalin sub-registrar told the deed writers that they cannot register the land at the Bhangura office on working days other than Wednesday. Some document writers, who did not wish to be named, said the sub-registrar left office on Wednesday. That’s why registration is closed in this office on Thursday.
Part-time sub-register Md. Modachir Hasan informed, once a week on Wednesday he will register the document at Bhangura Registry Office. He also said that the district registrar has been informed in this regard.
Deed Writers Association President MoklechurR ahman Bachchu demanded the higher authorities to appoint a permanent sub-registrar in the Bhangura registry office.
