Bus set on fire in Gulistan on eve of return to blockade

Unidentified arsonists set a bus on fire near the Toll Plaza in the capital’s Gulistan area on Saturday night.

The arsonists torched the bus of Rajanigandha Paribahan at 9:15 pm, said Anwarul Islam, warehouse inspector of the Fire Service and Civil Defence Headquarters (media cell).

On information, two firefighting units of Siddique Bazar fire station reached the spot and extinguished the fire around 9:27pm, he added.
No casualties were reported, said the officer.
