Aman paddy-rice collection campaign starts in Ishwardi

Paddy-rice collection campaign has officially started in Ishwardi for the current Aman season. On Sunday (December 10) afternoon, Ishwardi LSD and Muladuli CSD food warehouse’s paddy-rice collection program was inaugurated.
Upazila Nirbahi Officer Subir Kumar Das inaugurated the collection of Aman paddy and rice in the food warehouse. Upazila Food Controller Zainal Abedin, Ishwardi LSD SMO Mahfuz-al-Asad, Muladuli Food Warehouse Manager Abdul Mannan Sekh, Farmers League Convenor Fazlur Rahman Malitha, Chakal Owners Association President Zulmat Haider, General Secretary Shamsul Alam Biswas and other dignitaries and journalists were present on the occasion. Ishwardi SMO Mahfuz-al-Asad said that a total of 6,331 m tons of rice and 142 m.tons of paddy have been allocated for supply to two warehouses during the Aman season.
