Nomination submission deadline looms at EC

The deadline for submitting nomination papers for the 12th general election will end on Wednesday.

According to the Election Commission, nomination seekers can collect the forms from returning or assistant returning officers and submit it within 5 pm on Wednesday, reports UNB.

The scrutiny of nomination papers will be conducted by December 1-4, and the final date for withdrawing candidacy is December 17, according to the EC announced schedule.
