Head Coach of Bangladesh Football team Javier Cabrera took the duty to coach Bangladesh Football team last year.

He did not get remarkable success last year.

But this year he has got success in his coaching campaign. Bangladesh Football team got success in SAFF Championship, FIFA international friendly matches and FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

The Spanish-born Head Coach of Bangladesh Football team is trying to make Bishwanath Ghosh, Rakib Hossain and the other as united team.

Bangladesh Football team have given fight before the long whistle of every match.

They are trying to present competitive football in every match against their stronger opponents.

They tried their best not to give chance their opponents to dominate them.

The football lovers and the critics of the Bangladesh football have given credit to Javier Cabrera for the success of Bangladesh Football team.

Bangladesh played a number of 13 international football matches.

Of them, Bangladesh registered six victories, three draws and four defeats.

After 2009, Bangladesh Football team reached the semi-finals of the SAFF Championship.

They drew with Afghanistan, which is a notable success.

Besides, Bangladesh drew 1-1 with Lebanon in the FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

Before the match, our coach suggested us to give fight against our stronger opponents.”

” Cabrera said to us, we may lose against them.

But we have to fight against them until the last moment of the match.

We have to show our mentality to battle before the last minute of the match.

If we can do that, it will give us inspiration in the last match.

He always encourages us. I cannot state what kind of motivation is given by him.”

Rakib not only praised Cabrera but also praised assistant coach and goalkeeping coaches for their contributions.

Rakib said, ” Their explanation and observation are up to the mark.

After their appointments our team have showed a satisfactory performance.

Cabrera could not do well alone.

We are advancing by giving combined attempt. Cabrera can read us properly.”

Javier Cabrera said, ” My boys are working hard.

So, they are doing good.

There are many matches in front of us.

I hope my boys will do well in the matches of the upcoming year.”
