Country witnesses wave of mass upsurge after polls schedule: Quader

Awami League (AL) General Secretary Obaidul Quader on Sunday said after announcement of the schedule for the 12th national elections a wave of mass upsurge has been created across the country.

“People have a huge interest about the polls….it cannot be excessive to say that how spontaneous the people are today about the elections.

Our main target is the young generation who become voters for the first time,” he said.

Quader told a meeting at the AL President’s Dhanmondi political office in the capital on Sunday afternoon.
