BNP leaders confess to attack CJ’s residence: DB Chief

Chief of Dhaka Metropolitan Police’s Detective Branch Additional Commissioner Harun-Or-Rashid has claimed that BNP central leaders have confessed to carrying out the attack on the chief justice’s residence and setting fire on buses.

The DB chief made the claim while talking to reporters at his office on Minto Road in the capital on Wednesday.

“BNP central leaders have confessed to attacking the chief justice’s residence, setting fire on BRTC bus and carrying out subversive activities during the ongoing blockade since October 28,” Harun said.

BNP leaders have also expressed sorrow for such activities, he added.
More than a hundred cases have been registered in the capital alone in connection with the killing of a policeman, attack on the Chief Justice’s residence, arson attacks on Oct 28 in Nayapaltan.
