JU Prof Maniruzzaman attends int’l conference

Professor Dr. Maniruzzaman , teacher at English department of Jahangirnagar University (JU), virtually spoke to a two-day international conference recently.

The conference titled “Literature and Civilisation, Interdisciplinary and Transcultural Studies: Trends and Challenges” was organised by Faculty of Foreign Language of Hassiba BenBouali University of Chlef of Algeria.

Ministry of Higher Education of the country financed in the conference.

Prof Maniruzzaman spoke to the first day of the conference on “Language, Literature, Culture and Society: How/Where/Who are We?”

The conference featured around 20 sessions where around 70 experts from different countries of the world addressed various issues of English Language and Literature.

A number of 2 hundreds people participated in the hybrid-mode conference.
