Bangladesh Army on way to qtr-finals

Bangladesh Army Football team on the way to the quarter-finals of the Independence Cup Football after making a goalless draw with Fortis Football Club Limited in their second match at the Bashundhara Kings Arena in Dhaka on Tuesday.

Earlier, Bangladesh Army drew 2-2 goals with Dhaka Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited.

Bangladesh Army have been billed in the Group-C with Fortis Club, Dhaka Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited. Fortis Club have foreign recruits and the black-and-white outfit have also foreign booters. On the other hand, Bangladesh Army have no foreign recruit.

If Dhaka Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited beat Fortis Club, Bangladesh Army will cruise into the quarter-finals of the Independence Cup.

On the other hand, the match between Dhaka Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited and Fortis Club ends in a draw, the quarter-finalists will be decided by the goal average.

It may be mentioned that Golam Rabbani Choton is the Head Coach of Bangladesh Army Football team.

He showed success when he was the Head Coach of Bangladesh Women’s Football team.
