In an effort to save people from lightning strike, as many as 25 thousand saplings of palm trees are being planted in Chandpur. As per PM’s direction, DC Kamrul Hasan formally inaugurates the programme by planting saplings of palm trees on the premises of District Jail in Ashikathi Union under Sadar Upazila recently. ADC (General) Bashir Ahmed, Sadar UNO Shakhawat Hossain Jamil, UP Chairman Billal Hossain Patwary among others were present at that time.
