Free seed distributed in Madhukhali

Under the management of MadhukhaliUpazila Agriculture Office of Faridpur in the financial year 2023-2024 under the agricultural promotion program in MadhukhaliUpazila, free seeds and chemical fertilizers have been distributed to marginal farmers in Rabi 2023-2024 season.

Upazila Executive Officer Mamnoon Ahmed Aneek presided over the distribution ceremony at the Upazila Agriculture Office premises on Wednesday afternoon.

Upazila Parishad Vice Chairman Mohammad Muraduzzaman Murad, Upazila Awami League General Secretary Rezaul Haque Baku, Upazila Parishad Women Vice Chairman Morsheda Akter Meena was delivered their speech as special guests.

Upazila Agriculture Officer Agriculturist Alvir Rahman delivered the welcome speech. In this season, mustard was distributed to three thousand people, wheat to one thousand one hundred farmers, corn to one hundred people, seeds and chemical fertilizers to a total of four thousand seven hundred and fifty farmers including three hundred people, he said.
