Discussion on elections, women’s candidacy in Rangpur

A view exchange meeting on election and women candidacy was held in Rangpur.

Democracy Watch organized the meeting in the auditorium of Caspia Chinese Restaurant in the city on Wednesday.

Metropolitan BNP convener Md. Samsuzzaman Samu, JSD Convener Sabbir Ahmed, district Jatiya Party member secretary Abdur Razzak, district BNP member secretary Anichur Rahman Laku, member of Awami League Golam Mostafa, advocate Rezeka Sultana Fancy and others spoke on the occasion.

In the discussion meeting, women candidates are called to unite.

The priority of women’s representation in national and local governments was emphasized.

Aparajitara presented their views on the challenges, possibilities and political commitment and implementation of women’s political empowerment.

30 leaders of BNP, Awami League, Japa and Jas were present in this exchange meeting.
