We must win: BNP
Staff Reporter :
The main opposition party-BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir on Thursday said that they will win in the struggle for reinstallations of democracy in Bangladesh.
“We are at a war now. The reason of the war is a monstrous force has captured the power of the country.
As per pronunciation of a justice, ‘the country has been made hell’.
The students of the country have joined the war on our side.
We will win,” BNP Secretary General said while addressing as chief guest at a student union convention in the capital’s Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh (IEB).
“There is no point in visiting foreign countries in a move to retain power as the reign of the Awami League government has come to an end,” Mirza Fakhrul said.
“Azrail has come for Awami League as their reign is over.
They are going around visiting various countries to come to power again somehow.
Sheikh Hasina is going to Brussels. She spent 18 days in America, a few days ago.
What’s the point of wandering around? It’s time for you to quit,” the BNP leader said.
“The government speaks of how much the country has developed through the Padma Bridge, the Metrorail.
Then what is so scary about holding the national polls under a neutral government? You have brought in so many developments, so the people are supposed to vote for you, right? But the fact is, you know you [AL] will not exist if election is held under a non-party government.” the BNP leader said.
