Training for oilseed crops improvement held

The Oilseed Research Centre (ORC), Gazipur of Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute (BARI) has arranged a training session on “Biochemical and Physiological Tools for Oilseed Crops Improvement” at the seminar room of Oilseed Research Centre on Monday.

A total 20 (twenty) Senior Scientific Assistants and Scientific Assistants from BARI took part in the 03 days (9-11 October) training program.

In the morning, Director General of BARI Dr Debasish Sarker inaugurated the training as chief guest.

Director (Oilseed Research Centre) Dr Md. Tariqul Islam presided over the function while Director (Support and Services) Dr Ferdouse Islam, Director (Planning and Evaluation) Dr Dilwar Ahmed Choudhury and Director (Research) Dr Md. Abdullah Yousuf Akhond were present as special guests.

Chief Scientific Officer of ORC and Course Coordinator Dr Ferdousi Begum gave the welcome address.
