Tackling Visual Experiment Project opens

A project to tackle visual impairment of tea workers (Tackling Visual Experience) has been inaugurated in Sylhet.

The project was inaugurated on Thursday in a hotel in a ceremony.

The project will be implemented in collaboration with Orbis International and under the management of Nayan Foundation (Modern Eye Hospital, Sylhet).

Dr. AHM Enayet Hossain, VC of Sylhet Medical University, was present as the chief guest at the opening ceremony.

He said, besides the government, private institutions and organizations should come forward to improve the quality of life of tea workers.

The importance of social organizations is immense in eliminating physical problems, especially those with visual impairment.

He called upon those concerned to come forward for social responsibility and the development of this neglected group of the country.

Nayan Foundation Chairman Sabbir Ahmad presided over and Orbis International Program Manager Md Yadul Hassan attended the opening ceremony.
