Bangladesh football team to get attractive bonus : Kazi Salahuddin

Members of Bangladesh football team will get attractive bonus if they can beat Maldives football team in the play-off matches of FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

President of Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) Kazi Salahddin went to the coaching camp of Bangladesh football team on Saturday last.

He went there to give inspiration to the booters. He said, ” If you can beat Maldives in play-off matches, you will get an attractive (big) bonus.”

Bangladesh will take on Maldives on October 12 at their away match in Male, the capital city of Maldives, while Bangladesh will face Maldives at their home match on October 17.

According to the latest FIFA rankings, Bangladesh have taken 189th position, while Maldives have achieved 154th spot.

If Bangladesh beat Maldives in play-off matches, Bangladesh will be billed in Group-I with Australia, Palestine and Lebanon in the second round of FIFA qualifiers.

According to the latest FIFA rankings, Australia have attained 29th position, Palestine have achieved 93rd spot and Lebanon have taken 99th position. Bangladesh will get chance to play home and away basis matches against their stronger opponent teams.

Earlier, President of BFF Kazi Salahuddin gave Taka 58 lakh among the members of Bangladesh football team, which reached the semi-final of the South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) Championship, which concluded in India recently.
