Sheikh Hasina’s 77th birthday celebrated in Bauphal

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s 77th birthday was celebrated on the initiative of Awami League leader and prominent social worker Haseeb Alam Talukdar, son of Freedom Medalist Group Captain (retd) Shamsul Alam, Bir Uttom at Bauphal in Patuakhali on Thursday.

Marking the birthday celebration of Sheikh Hasina, Awami League leaders and associate bodies members chalked out programs including milad and doa mahfils, distribution of Holy Quran held in three madrasas of Kachipara and Naumala Union.

Special prayers were held for the progress and prosperity of the country along with good health and long life of the Hon’ble Prime Minister.

Later, the party’s leaders and activists celebrated the day by cutting cake and holding a discussion meeting. Kalishuri Union Jubo League President Abdul Hai, Naumala Union Jubo League President Abul Kalam, Kachipara Union Jubo League Former Organizing Secretary Shaheen Akon, Kachipara Union Chhatra League President Newaz Sharif, Naumala Union Chhatra League President Alamin Talukdar, Assistant Professor Sajal Halder and others were present.
