Life – term convict arrested after 27 yrs

The Detective Branch (DB) on Sunday arrested a life- term convict after 27 years of his verdict was given from Binnarband Ghat area in Taherpur upazila of Sunamganj .

Convicted name Wahidullah (62), who was sentenced to life in the case of rape and murder of a young woman (21) has not been saved after escaping for 27 years.

He was sent to jail by Kishoreganj court on Monday afternoon.

He was absconding after being sentenced in court.

Convicted Wahidullah son of Badshah Miah of Moutupi village of Bhai Rabbit upazila of Kishoreganj.
