Annual speech competition held in Ramgarh

An annual speech competition was held under the initiative of Putul Foundation in Ramgarh of Khagrachhari district.

The competition was held on Tuesday (September 26) at Ramgarh Girls High School Auditorium.

It was presided over by the convenor of the speech competition organizing committee, Mongprue Chowdhury.

Prof. Md. Abdul Latif, principal of Ramgarh Government Degree College, spoke as the chief guest.

Ramgarh Government College Associate Professor Mongsajai Marma, Ramgarh Government High School Headmaster Md Nurul Haque Gazi, Girls High School Headmaster Kazi Nazmul Haque, Ramgarh Government High School Retired Headmaster Md Abdul Quader, Upazila Academic Officer Kazi Sohel Rana , Retired Teacher Rekha Rani Sheel, Ramgarh Reporters Unity President and Senior Teacher Md. Bahar Uddin were the special guests.

9 contestants from three high schools of the upazila participated in the speech competition held on the topic ‘Smart Bangladesh: The current world is stagnant without information and technology’.

Hafiza Afnan, a class 9 student of Ramgarh Girls High School, came first in the competition, Ark Chakraborty and Imtiaz Bin Haque, class 9 students of Ramgarh Government High School, came second and third respectively.

Ramgarh Government College Lecturer Md. Borhan Uddin, Upazila Health Complex Medical Officer Dr. Takia Tunni and Assistant Upazila Education Officer Umraching Chowdhury.

The program was conducted by journalist Md. Nizam Uddin Lavlu.
