BSTI mobile courts fined over Tk 1 lakh in Bogura

Under the joint initiative of BSTI and the district administration, two mobile courts has been conducted in different areas of Sadar and Gabtoly Upazilas of the district under the control of quality of products and verification of weights and measures on Wednesday and fined Tk 1,75,000.

The court led by Executive Magistrate Palash Chandra Sarkar was conducted at Qualipara Sweet Food and Products under sadar upazila for using the quality mark without renewing the CM license and fined Tk 50000 as per BSTI Act-2018.

On the other hand, a mobile court led by Upazila Nirbahi Officer of Gabtali Md Aftabuzzaman Al Imran fined of Tk 50,000 for using the quality mark without obtaining CM license for the cake products.

Later Tk 25,000 for underpayment of fuel oil measurement at diesel and petrol units of Nipatali Samir and Sadi filling stations.

Then Tk 50,000 for underpayment of fuel oil measurement at diesel and petrol unit of Naruamala Jamir Traders.
