BNP’s 3 associate bodies to hold road marches Sept 16-17

BNP’s three associate bodies — Jubo Dal, Swechchhasebak Dal and Chhatra Dal – on Wednesday announced two road marches to press home the opposition party’s one-point demand — resignation of the government and general elections under a non-party neutral government.

“The first road march will start from Rangpur and end in Dinajpur on September 16.

The second one will begin from Bogura and end in Rajshahi the following day,” Jubo Dal President Sultan Salahuddin Tuku said at a press briefing at the BNP’s Nayapaltan central office.

He said BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir would take part in the marches as chief guest.
