10 employees suspended for security lapses at HSIA

The Civil Aviation Authority (CABA) suspended 10 officials after a child boarded a flight without a passport and ticket even evading all checks and security at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA) .

A committee has also been formed to investigate this incident.

Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) Chairman Air Vice Marshal M Mafidur Rahman said that a five-member investigation committee has been formed under the leadership of a deputy director-level officer of CAAB.

Legal action will be taken after receiving the inquiry report.
