Under trial l prisoner dies
A prisoner who fell sick at Kishoreganj District jail died at Shaheed Syed Nazrul Islam Medical College Hospital ( SSNIMCH) on Tuesday morning. The deceased is Siddique Mia (50), son of Abdul Majeed. in Court–Sholakia of Kishoreganj sadar. Siddique died while undergoing treatment at Shaheed Syed Nazrul Islam Medical College Hospital) SSNIMCH l around 10. :3O am on Tuesday. He was lodged in the Kishoreganj District Jail in the Electricity Act case from August 12. Jail Super (JS) in Kishoreganj. Shamim Iqbal confirmed the truth of the incident and said that prisoner Siddique Mia was taken to Shaheed Syed Nazrul Islam Medical College Hospital when she fell ill around 9 am. Later, he died at around 10:30 am while undergoing treatment there. In the death certificate, the doctor wrote that he died due to heart problems.

The Detective Branch (DB) of police in kishoreganj have arrested suspected two drug peddlers along; tash of 48 kilo hemp and pick-up van in Bhairab port town of Kishoreganj early Tuesday. A beats man named Abdul Awal (55) was beaten to death by his son due to a family dispute in Kishoreganj. He died while undergoing treatment at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) on Sunday night. The incident took place at his home in Nagua in the town on Saturday evening. Victim. Abdul Awal son of Abu Saeed of Nagua Battala area of . Kishoreganj town. The locals saids , on Saturday afternoon, his wife had a quarrel with Abdul Awal over family matters. In this, the son Russel (22). got angry after seeing the quarrel of his parents and attacked the father Awal. At one point he beat his father. He was seriously injured. He was rescued and taken to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital (MMCH) Later, when the condition worsened, the hospital authorities referred him to Dhaka Medical College Hospital. Awal died on Sunday evening while undergoing treatment there. Son Russell is currently absconding.
